The circular glass top is supported by a base that is made with 4 volumes each square sectioned.
Each one has two vertical faces (one is veneered with Japanese elm, one with black dyed pearwood) and 4 inclined sides inlaid with Japanese elm and black dyed pearwood.

There are two positions for this base:
- Vertical sides outside: Table #1
- Vertical sides inside: Table #2
